Welcome to my October show. Today's show will have an autumnal flavor, touching on corn, apples, harvest, home, family, autumn leaves, departing birds, change, death, and the cycles of life. Preparing the show, I made a list of autumnal songs, and I found that it was a pretty melancholy list. I cut out some of the sadder songs. Even with the cuts, it turned out to be a pretty mellow show. I hope though that for the most part, it's mellow like curling up with a quilt and a cup of cocoa, rather than melancholy. I hope these songs will help create a mood of warmth on this chilly weekend.
